Abstract

This article analyzes the impact of new technologies and generative artificial intelligence on violence against women and gender inequality. The author demonstrates that digital technologies often reproduce existing patriarchal structures, reinforcing violence against women. At the same time, she points to the conditional emancipatory potential of technology, which is only possible when women and others experiencing systemic discrimination and violence are legally empowered and effectively impacted, gender discrimination is reduced in all other areas, trends are constantly monitored, inclusive design is implemented, and systemic equality and anti‑violence education is implemented.
