Abstract
The purpose of this article is to discuss the methodological and instructional issues related to the gamification of foreign language classes in remote form and to show the potential that lies in the use of Internet tools such as games and applications in online foreign language learning. The basic question asks about the effectiveness and quality of games created with the help of online
platforms and applications (such as Wordwall, Learningapps, Padlet, Jamboard, Kahoot, Quizlet, and Mentimeter) that the student can use independently and those that require the assistance of a teacher. The author analyzes the particularities of games in online classes and points out what instructors should pay attention to when conducting them.
